- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon] 'UserInit' = '<SYSTEM32>\userinit.exe,<LS_APPDATA>\winlogon.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%WINDIR%\winlogon.exe'
Injects code into
the following system processes:
- %WINDIR%\Explorer.EXE
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %WINDIR%\winlogon.exe
- <LS_APPDATA>\winlogon.exe
- C:\Uranus.exe
Deletes the following files:
- %WINDIR%\winlogon.exe
