Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Host' = '%APPDATA%\appdata\sub7\host.exe'
- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Host' = '%APPDATA%\appdata\sub7\host.exe'
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\Microsoft\host.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %TEMP%\~a21524.log
- %APPDATA%\Microsoft\host.exe
- <Full path to virus>:ZONE.identifier
Moves itself:
- from <Full path to virus> to %APPDATA%\appdata\sub7\host.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ch####.linkpc.net':15525
UDP:
- DNS ASK ch####.linkpc.net
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
