Modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] 'Windows System Audio Driver' = '"%APPDATA%\audio32hd.exe"'
Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
forces the system hide from view:
- hidden files
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\WUD32Host.exe'
- '%APPDATA%\audio32hd.exe'
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\WUD32Host.exe
- %APPDATA%\audio32hd.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\WUD32Host.exe
- %APPDATA%\audio32hd.exe
Network activity:
UDP:
- '<Private IP address>':5351
- '23#.#55.255.250':1900
