Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
blocks execution of the following system utilities:
- Windows Task Manager (Taskmgr)
- Registry Editor (RegEdit)
Creates and executes the following:
- '<LS_APPDATA>\Xenocode\Sandbox\Java Update 1.27 ver 26544\26544\2013.03.11T20.29\Virtual\STUBEXE\@APPDIR@\Javaupdate.exe'
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- outpost.exe
- AVP.EXE
- bdagent.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
Modifies the HOSTS file.
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
