- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '18.exe' = '%APPDATA%Microsoft\System\Services\18.exe'
Creates or modifies the following files:
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\explorer.exe
- %HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\service.exe
Malicious functions:
Creates and executes the following:
- '%HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\explorer.exe'
- '%HOMEPATH%\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\service.exe'
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- nod32.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%Microsoft\System\Services\18.exe
Modifies the HOSTS file.
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: '(null)'
