Malicious functions:
To complicate detection of its presence in the operating system,
blocks execution of the following system utilities:
- Windows Task Manager (Taskmgr)
Creates and executes the following:
- %TEMP%\Maincit.exe
- %TEMP%\executable.exe
- %TEMP%\~sfx00197C0112\D3D3Sep2012.exe
Terminates or attempts to terminate
the following user processes:
- outpost.exe
- AVP.EXE
- bdagent.exe
Modifies file system :
Creates the following files:
- <SYSTEM32>\Maincit.dll
- %TEMP%\Maincit.exe
- %TEMP%\~sfx00197C0112\D3D3Sep2012.exe
- %TEMP%\executable.exe
Miscellaneous:
Searches for the following windows:
- ClassName: '' WindowName: 'HSUpdate'
- ClassName: 'Indicator' WindowName: ''
- ClassName: 'Shell_TrayWnd' WindowName: ''
