Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\wordx.exe' = '%APPDATA%\wordx.exe:*:Enabled:wordx.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\wordx.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\wordx.exe" "wordx.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\wordx.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ba#####avio.ddns.net':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK ba#####avio.ddns.net
