Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\cmd.exe' = '%APPDATA%\cmd.exe:*:Enabled:cmd.exe'
Creates and executes the following:
- '%APPDATA%\cmd.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\cmd.exe" "cmd.exe" ENABLE
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\cmd.exe
Sets the 'hidden' attribute to the following files:
- %APPDATA%\cmd.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'di###.ddns.net':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK di###.ddns.net
