- [<HKCU>\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run] '824f75007bcba0a73ea898007ca412a1' = '"%APPDATA%\server.exe" ..'
Malicious functions:
To bypass firewall, removes or modifies the following registry keys:
- [<HKLM>\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile\AuthorizedApplications\List] '%APPDATA%\server.exe' = '%APPDATA%\server.exe:*:Enabled:server.exe'
Executes the following:
- '<SYSTEM32>\netsh.exe' firewall add allowedprogram "%APPDATA%\server.exe" "server.exe" ENABLE
- '%APPDATA%\server.exe'
Modifies file system:
Creates the following files:
- %APPDATA%\server.exe
Network activity:
Connects to:
- 'ka####q.hopto.org':1177
UDP:
- DNS ASK ka####q.hopto.org
